Sustainable development

The entrepreneurs who are members of PROFLUID are aware of the challenges set by sustainable development, and commit themselves to promoting an industry that is both profitable and fair, which is respectful of Man as well as his environment.

For end-users, they work at developing efficient (energy efficient) products, and safe for human health (suitability of materials for contact with foods, sanitary conformity certificate (ACS), etc.). Concerns in matters of work safety are also taken into account in designing the machines through specific regulations (“Machinery” Directive 2006/42/EC  and “ATEX” Directive 1999/92/EC).

Suppliers, too, follow the same approach since they now need to vouch that their products do not contain any hazardous substance (Regulation No. 1907/2006/EC “REACH”).

The appropriate inclusion of industrial sites into the local economic activity is also one of the concerns of the manufacturers, members of PROFLUID.
